Richard Lee

Richard Lee has over 40 years of experience in the Australian mining industry and is the co-founder of two Australian publicly listed companies. His core expertise lies in the planning, design, and maintenance of crushing equipment, where he has consistently delivered operational efficiency and reliability across complex mining environments. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive and technical leadership roles, contributing to the successful development, expansion, and optimization of mining operations. His experience spans both greenfield and established projects, providing him with a strong practical and strategic understanding of the mining sector.
In 2004, Mr. Lee served as a Consultant for AusAID in East Java, Indonesia, working closely with the Environmental Agency on mining-related initiatives. He later held the position of Director of Operations for an ASX-listed company, where he oversaw a major project in collaboration with the Philippine Cooperative Development Authority (CDA). In recent years, Mr. Lee has successfully developed and advanced mining ventures in Africa and Indonesia on behalf of several Australian companies, supporting project feasibility, development, and execution. He continues to provide technical and strategic leadership through his involvement with Lion Resources Ltd.
